Sambal Udang Petai with Sultan Premium Basamathi ERA
8 Large Prawns, peeled and leave the tails on
1 cup Petai
1 red onion
3 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon Belacan
1/4 Cup of dry chili paste
1/4 Cup of Cooking Oil
3 tablespoons Asam java
3 Tablespoons of Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt, to taste
2 Cups Sultan Premium Basmathi ERA Rice, washed and soaked for 30 minutes before cooking.
Heat the cooking oil in a large pan then add the ground ingredients until the smell rises and the oil breaks.
Add tamarind water and salt to taste. Add the shrimp, then cook until the sauce thickens.
Add petai and cook for about one minute.
Serve hot with cooked Sultan Premium Basmathi Rice.
